KMC alumni donate Rs 22 lakh worth equipment to MGMH

Warangal Urban: The alumni of the State-run Kakatiya Medical College (KMC) at Warangal, have donated equipment worth Rs 22 lakhs to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital (MGMH) here on Saturday in the presence of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao. They handed over 10 BiPap machines, 50 BiPap masks, 125 oxyflow meters, 10 multichannel monitors, 350 PPE(GSM 9) kits with goggles and N-95 masks, and 1000 N-95 masks for the use of the patients.
The old students of the 1986 batch of the MBBS, KMC, include Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) registrar Dr Praveen Kumar Devulapalli, Dr Venugopal Reddy Palla (USA), Dr Ajit Challa (USA), Dr Vishal Asma (USA), Dr Vinod Miryala (USA), Dr Vasavi (USA), Dr Srinivasan(USA) Dr Padmaja Reddy (USA), Dr Vanisri Reddy (USA), Dr Viswajyothi (USA), Dr Sujatha (USA), Dr Paramjit Singh, Dr Annapurna ,Dr Anupama, Dr Naveena, and Dr Padmaja. It may be recalled here that the KMC old students also donated a C-arm machine to MGMH and other equipment last year. Appreciating the doctors (KMC alumni), Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao urged the philanthropists and others also to come forward to chip in for the development of the MGM and other State-run hospitals for the benefit of the poor.
