Nalgonda: Dissent has surfaced, yet again, within the ruling Congress, with Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy publicly venting his frustration over alleged discrimination in fund allocation and administrative neglect in the State. He warned that he would drop a “bomb” if the Congress leadership did not mend its ways.
Speaking at a memorial event in Kothularam village of Nalgonda district, Rajagopal Reddy alleged that development funds were being channelled largely to the constituencies of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and a few other Ministers, while others were left to struggle without a rupee.
He claimed that he had personally appealed to the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, who promised the release of funds and clearance of pending contractor bills. However, he said the assurances had not materialised even after weeks.
The MLA warned that he would wait for a few more days and drop a bomb one day if the discrimination continued. He said stalled payments had forced contractors in Munugode to halt works midway, leaving several development projects in limbo.
