Meher Ramesh launches Telugu teaser of “Bun Butter Jam”
After a hit Tamil run, Bun Butter Jam comes to Telugu on August 8. A light-hearted tale of mothers arranging marriages, clashing with Gen Z’s confusions, love and friendships.

Hyderabad: After making a mark with Tamil audiences, the romantic comedy Bun Butter Jam is gearing up to entertain Telugu viewers. The film, which released in Tamil on July 18 to positive response, will hit theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on August 8.
Director Meher Ramesh unveiled the Telugu teaser of the film on Friday and called it a “fun family entertainer” while wishing the team success for its release.
The story of Bun Butter Jam revolves around two mothers trying to arrange the marriage of their children. Things take a turn when the youngsters, shaped by friendships and modern-day confusion, have their own ideas about love. What follows is a mix of humour, emotion and generational clashes.
The lead roles are played by Raju Jeyamohan, Aadya Prasad and Bhavya Trikha, with Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini, Michael Thangathurai and VJ Pappu in key supporting parts.
Raghav Midarth has written and directed the film, while Suresh Subramanian produced it under Rain of Arrows Entertainment. CH Satish Kumar of Sree Vigneshwara Entertainments will release the Telugu version.
Music is composed by Nivas K Prasanna. Babu Kumar has handled cinematography and John Abraham is the editor.
