Infra works tagged with QR code in MMC
Officials of the Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation introduced a QR code system and installed flex boards at works that were under progress, placing QR codes at 11 locations across the MMC on Monday.
A press release stated that the initiative was aimed at ensuring complete transparency in the development works being undertaken for citizens. By scanning the QR code, people can access information such as the contractor’s name, mobile number, work details, estimated cost and project deadlines.
MMC engineering officials said the system enables citizens to monitor the progress of works and report issues or suggestions to the relevant authorities. Public involvement is expected to enhance the quality of development projects.
