Nava Limited honours women trainees with proficiency certificates
Nava Limited’s Women’s Empowerment Centre in Paloncha distributed certificates to candidates trained in Tally and DTP courses. The initiative, part of the company’s CSR efforts, has provided free training, education, healthcare, and safe drinking water facilities to thousands in the district.

Kothagudem: Certificates of proficiency were presented to candidates who completed training in Tally and DTP courses at Nava Women’s Empowerment Centre, established as part of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of Nava Limited, Paloncha in the district.
At a programme organised on Friday, Nava Limited founders Dr. Devineni Subbarao and Panda Punnaiah’s family members Sarada, Rajeswari, Jyothsna, Sunitha, P Rajeswari, Neelima, Jayasree, Rani and Rama Devineni handed over certificates to the trainees.
Ch Chidvilasini, a trainee in the DTP course, said the Women’s Empowerment Centre provided free training that created employment opportunities for many individuals like her. Following the training, she was selected for a position at HFCL with a monthly salary of Rs 12,000.
Guest speaker Jyothsna remarked that Nava was actively striving to foster the economic growth of women, urging them to leverage this computer proficiency to achieve even greater heights in the future.
Women’s Empowerment Centre representative M Srinivasa Rao noted that ever since the inception of Nava Bharat in 1975, the company has prioritised and initiated the development of infrastructure in the surrounding areas alongside its own organisational growth.
He noted that over 10,000 students have received free education at Nava Bharat High School. Through the ‘HELP’ initiative launched in 2010, the organisation has established a deeper connection with the local community.
As part of it Nava Bharat Eye Hospital has provided medical treatment valued at over Rs 10 lakh and performed eye surgeries for more than 55,000 patients. Safe drinking water centres were established in 29 villages and over 4,600 individuals have successfully completed training in various courses at the Women’s Empowerment Centre, he said.
