New Collectorates will bring governance closer to people: Errabelli

Warangal: The new collectorates are being constructed to bring good governance closer to the people of the State, Minister for Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao said on Tuesday.
Accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP Banda Prakash, Warangal Mayor Gundu Sudha Rani and District Collector Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu, the Minister inspected the new integrated Collectorate complex at Subedari in Hanamkonda.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao said: “As part of the accomplishment of ‘Bangaru Telangana’, construction of new integrated collectorates has been taken up to bring administration closer to the people.”
Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will formally inaugurate the newly constructed Warangal District Collectorate Complex in Warangal on May 21 during his visit to the district, the Minister said that ‘Bhoomi Puja’ would also be held for the construction of a 24-storey multi-super specialty hospital. He further said that the Warangal Urban Collectorate building was estimated to cost Rs.35 crore and the construction cost would be around Rs 57 crore in an area of 1.57 lakh square feet.
Warangal East MLA Nannapaneni Narender, CCF Asha, DFO Arpana, DRO Vasu Chandra, R&B SE Nagender Rao and other authorities accompanied the minister.
