Hyderabad: Since 2020, there has been a rise in demand for True Wireless (TWS) earbuds because of WFH culture and also the rise of OTT platforms. Few weeks ago, Hyderabad-based pTron, known for providing affordable audio accessories, launched Bassbuds Tango ENC TWS Earbuds for Rs 1,799, and customers can choose between White and black colours. Currently, the earbuds are available on Amazon for Rs 1,299.
The earbuds sport a decent matte-finished 400 mAh charging case with no button, so fingerprint on the case won’t be an issue. It also includes a set of ear tips and also USB-C cable for charging the case. I have used the earbuds (black colour) for about a week with an iPhone 12 pro and I didn’t witness any much issues other than the transmission range. Earbuds comfortably fit my ears and also automatically connects to my phone without any connectivity issues. The sound quality is very good because of the 13mm Hi-Fi stereo driver and also offers 40 hours playtime with the case (claimed by the company). The standout thing of this earbuds is its deep bass. It comes with a dedicated movie mode for movie watching experience with low-latency zero-audio lag. Its touch controls are good with no lag, with few taps on the earbuds, you can switch between music and dedicated movie mode, control music/calls and also active smartphone assistant, it supports both Siri and Google assistant.
The Bassbuds Tango offers robust true-wireless experience, it also features decent Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC), IP4X water resistance and Type C fast charging. Final verdict, Bassbuds tango would be a great earbud to go for considering its better sound quality and other features like ENC and movie mode at an attractive price of Rs. 1299.
