Shepherd drowns in tank in Mahabubabad district

The deceased was identified as Alvalala Muthaiah (55) of Yellampet village

Mahabubababad: A shepherd drowned in a tank while trying to rescue a goat at Yellampet village of Marrpieda mandal in the district on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Alvalala Muthaiah (55) of the same village. It is learnt that Muthaiah ventured into the waters when one of his goat fell into the tank accidentally. Unfortunately, he and the goat drowned in the incident.
