Siddipet: The district collector P Venkatrami Reddy has said that they will provide each and every benefit to the last displaced under Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Projects in Siddipet district (KLIS). Suggesting the displaced persons not to approach the middlemen, Reddy has said that they will set up special cell in the collectorate in March to receive grievances from the oustees.
He said the system will help redress grievances with a single objective to provide all the benefits to the displaced families. The complaints will be received from March 1 to 31 at the Collectorate.
Kotchaguttapally under Ananthagiri project, Mamidyala, Bilampur and Thanedarpally villagess under Kondapochamma Sagar, Vemulaghat, Etigadda Kistapur, Singaram, Erravally, Pallepahad, Rampur, Lakshmapur, and Brahmana Banjerupally under Sri Komuravelly Mallikrajuna Swamy Temple were displaced under KLIS in Siddipet district.
Stating that they could complete the projects with the sacrifices of these displaced villagers and farmers, whose lands were acquired, Reddy has said hey were working to extend each and every benefit to the eligible under R&R. He has further informed that they will receive the applications from all the displaced villagers in a format. Saying that they will receive the complaints in person by issuing an acknowledgement from 10.30 am and 5PM on every working day, the Collector has said that they can drop their applications after 5PM in a grievance box placed at the same cell. He has said that they will disburse each and every application after thorough process during the April and May months.
