SPDCL to deploy 101 Emergency Response Team vehicles from Dec 1
Last month, Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka launched several Emergency Response Team vehicles. Based on their performance, TGSPDCL Chairman & Managing Director Musharraf Ali Faruqui has now allocated a total of 101 vehicles: 50 for the Metro Zone, 21 for Rangareddy Zone, 19 for Medchal Zone, and 11 for the Rural Zone, supplementing the company’s existing fleet.
Hyderabad: As part of its effort to address issues related to power supply, the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TGSPDCL) will deploy 101 Emergency Response Team vehicles equipped with advanced equipment to provide immediate response to power supply interruptions and emergencies within its jurisdiction from December 1.
Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka launched few Emergency Response Team vehicles last month and based on the performance of the vehicles, TGSPDCL Chairman & Managing Director Musharraf Ali Faruqui has issued orders allocating a total of 101 vehicles- 50 for the Metro Zone, 21 for the Rangareddy Zone, 19 for the Medchal Zone and 11 for the Rural Zone, in addition to the existing vehicles within the Company.
These vehicles are equipped with one Assistant Engineer, three skilled personnel, Walkie Talkie, Thermo Vision Camera and latest safety equipment such as Helmet, Earth Rod, Gloves, Safety Belt, conductor, LT/HT cable, spanner kit, 14 feet Adjustable Ladder, Axe, Rope, LT/HT Fuse wire, Insulator, Power saw / Wood Cutter, etc. In addition to comfortably carrying four personnel, this vehicle is also suitable for transporting a 100 KVA capacity Distribution Transformer.
