The chiefs of the Indian Air Force and Army flew for approximately 45 minutes in the indigenously developed Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas. This marked the first instance of two armed forces chiefs flying together in the indigenous aircraft.
This year, the event features enhanced infrastructure experience, including widened roads to AFS Yelahanka, AC Volvo shuttle buses for free transportation, and security and emergency preparedness. Aero India demonstrations and aircraft movements will be a major highlight of the exhibition
The 13th edition of the Aero India international air show, organised by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is scheduled to take place from February 3 to 5 at Air Force Station Yelahanka.
