Officials have sent second blood samples of relatives of eight missing workers in the Sigachi Industries blast to CFSL after initial DNA tests failed. Nearly 100 body parts are being matched as search operations continue at the Sangareddy accident site.
Three more victims of the Sigachi Chloro Chemicals blast were identified through DNA reports, taking the total to 39. All were migrant workers from Bihar and Odisha. Two bodies remain unidentified as families await confirmation at a Sangareddy rehab centre.
Officials are struggling to identify the 37 charred bodies recovered from the Sigachi factory blast. Only four have been identified so far. DNA tests are being initiated, with CFSL Hyderabad teams collecting samples to aid the identification process.
