IndiGo Managing Director Rahul Bhatia urged the government to reduce aviation taxes and rationalise airport charges, saying lower airfares would spur demand. He also defended the airline's market dominance, citing expansion into underserved routes and rising operating costs
"We want the government to immediately regulate the exports to ensure the supply of yarn to the domestic industry," Tirupur Exporters Association President Raja Shanmugam.
According to the automobile manufacturer, the net profit during the quarter under review rose to Rs 1,941.4 crore from Rs 1,564.8 crore during the corresponding period of previous fiscal.
"Going ahead, market is expected to remain positive but with sector/stock specific action. Investors would now track earnings season and watch out for management commentaries."
