Amidst election authorities’ strict vigil, citizens will cast their ballots and choose their representatives for the Lok Sabha on Monday.

Meanwhile, a government spokesperson mentioned that the video was recorded during the previous Lok Sabha elections, capturing the transportation of these EVMs in the presence of representatives from various political parties.

To begin with, postal ballots will be counted at 8 am, followed by votes polled on the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

The EVMs were carefully checked and secured in the strong rooms in accordance with the rules of the Election Commission.

The strong room will be opened on counting day, December 3.

If the postal ballot votes counting continued beyond 8.30 a.m. simultaneously EVMs counting would commence.
