Chief Minister Vijay Rupani took the decision about the relief package after reviewing the situation during a meeting on Tuesday evening, an official release said.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Centre, said the victims' kin have consented for compensation of Rs 10 crore above the ex-gratia amount already paid in the case.
Under Integrated Fisheries DevelopmentĀ scheme, the Minister said fishermen were being given mopeds, four-wheelers, fishing nets, mobile fish kiosks and other facilities at subsidised rates.
