While the city eagerly awaits the main event, many devotees have already begun immersing their idols, with smaller processions filling the streets over the past few days.
Advocate Venu Madhav’s petition argued that the State government had flagrantly violated court orders prohibiting the immersion of idols, particularly Plaster of Paris (POP) idols, at Tank Bund.
The advisory further urged that volunteers must be present at all times, and unlawful activities, including gambling and alcohol consumption, are strictly prohibited
