TGSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar said these special buses will be operated on the day to facilitate hassle-free movement of devotees.

The current water level in the lake was recorded at 513.60 metres against the Full Tank Level (FTL) of 514 metres.

According to the GHMC, teams are closely monitoring the water levels at Hussain Sagar to ensure public safety and preparedness. 

Authorities who have been monitoring the water levels have released 1,600 cusecs downstream.

As against a full tank level of 513.41, on Saturday morning, the water level rose to 513.53.
