Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan said the State government embarked upon constructing major and medium irrigation projects with the objective of creating irrigation facility for one crore acre of land.
The government, he said, completed all the pending works of Kalwakurthy, Bheema and Nettampadu irrigation projects in 11 months which would otherwise have taken 10 years.
