The South Central Railway will dismantle the old Foot Over Bridge at Hyderabad’s Nampally Railway Station from December 20 to 23 due to safety concerns. The over-50-year-old structure poses risks over multiple yard lines, and public cooperation is requested.
The RPF and GRP carried out comprehensive frisking and anti-sabotage operations across various key areas of the station. These included waiting halls, circulating area, trains and platforms.
According to the Hyderabad Traffic Police, vehicular movement was sluggish in regions spanning from OGH, Hotel Rajdhani, MJ Market, Care Hospital, Gandhi Bhavan, and Nampally Railway Station towards Public Garden.
