Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar welcomed the decision of the Election Commission for the polls saying that the BJP is fully prepared to contest elections in all five states.

Interestingly, the union government sanctioned Rs.7.47 crore to Gujarat under NFSM and a whopping Rs.60.43 crore to Karnataka in 2022-23

They stated that due to less yield, farmers in South Indian States were suffering losses to the tune of Rs 525 crore per annum, in the wake of increased recovery percentage.

Funds to BJP-ruled States like Gujarat were sanctioned Rs.14,127 lakhs, only Rs.2,688 lakhs were sanctioned to Telangana through VCA.

There is an increasing concern about the rise in the number of animals getting infected by lumpy skin disease in India.
