The Association during its general body meeting on Sunday, strongly opposed the joint venture and urged the government to hand over construction of the plant exclusively to GENCO.
Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL) Chairman and Managing Director Mushrraf Ali Faruqui on Tuesday initiated disciplinary action against four engineers on charges of dereliction of duties and corruption.
Out of the 89 artisans, who were reinstated into service, 58 on whom TESMA (Telangana Essential Service Maintenance (ESMA) Act 1971) cases filed were transferred to other circles and 31 artisans on whom other than TESMA cases filed were transferred to another division within the circle.
According to a statement issued, as many as 101 employees were promoted in the engineering wing; 47 in accounts; 2099 in Operation & Maintenance; 16 officers in P&G services.
