Due to heavy rush at the Praja Bhavan, traffic flow on the Begumpet main road was affected. Police officials said Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu had received the applications initially and left for the Assembly.

The Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan on Friday turned out to be a place for many Congress supporters to vent their ire against the past government, with some resorting to vandalising a plaque embossed with former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s name.
Officials have set up a help desk, where the people have to register themselves and their grievances or submit the applications, after which the officials will send them inside for further action.
