Anti-Corruption Bureau officials conducted raids across Adilabad district’s RTA check posts on Sunday, seizing Rs. 1.31 lakh from staff allegedly collecting bribes. Previous raids, including at Wankidi, also revealed unaccounted cash, highlighting persistent corruption in transport checkpoints.
The ACB seized Rs 43,300 in unaccounted cash from staff at the Zaheerabad RTA check post during a Sunday morning raid. Officials said the money was collected as bribes from vehicles crossing the Telangana–Karnataka border.
