Sanjay (19) and Prashanth (18) were killed, while another person sustained injuries when a car mowed down a motorbike in which they were travelling at Lolam village in Dilawarpur mandal on Friday evening.

The victim Kadari Shankar (28), a resident of Boduppal was going from Sagar ring road towards Bairamalguda when the scooter skidded on the road.

In a separate case, an auto rickshaw driver died after ramming his vehicle into an electric pole on Tuesday evening.

Mamindla Naveen (20) and Vamshi (19), residents of Machenpally in Doulthabad mandal, were going towards Gajwel from Machenpally when the DCM going in the opposite direction hit them.

Basha Gopi (38), a security guard and resident of Gajularamaram died on the spot when a speeding car rammed into him on the Devender nagar to Gajularamaram road on Sunday morning.

The mishap occurred when an unidentified vehicle rammed the bike on which the youngsters were riding on
