"The court heard the matters in detail and directed the matter to be posted to Tuesday, September 19 to enable us (CID lawyers) to file a counter affidavit," Special Public Prosecutor Y N Vivekananda, representing the CID, said.
The proceedings, initiated at 6 a.m., have extended for over six hours. The prosecution is pushing for a 15-day judicial custody for Naidu, while the TDP leader's counsel is vehemently opposing it.
