Researchers at the Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation (TiHAN) located at the Indian Institute of Technology-Hyderabad (IIT-H) said the autonomous vehicles developed by them would successfully run Indian traffic systems unlike the vehicles developed by foreign players in the field.
The delegation from Poultry India sought support from the Chief Minister to the reeling poultry industry by increasing the level of inclusion of eggs in mid-day meals from three to five per week as was being done in neighbouring States.
About 140 companies were interested in participating in this Young India Skill University, while plans have been made to start about 20 courses, and certificate courses and diploma courses will be started in the first school of e-commerce, logistics and retail sector.
The CM said youth were not getting jobs due to lack of skills, hence to empower the youth of the State with adequate skills, the State government decided to set up the Skill University.
The Chief Minister proposed the establishment of the university on the Engineering Staff College premises as it was located close to IT companies and other industries.
