Government Medical College, Medak got its first batch of students from Kerala, Rajasthan and Haryana for the 2024-25 academic year

During a parents' visit on Sunday, they were shocked to find worms in the meals served to students. When parents attempted to enter the school to address the issue, the staff locked the gates. In response, parents and students staged a protest in front of the school entrance.

In a letter to Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Harish Rao criticized the government for endangering the future of 25,000 students across 150 BAS institutions.
