Says around 1,000 Swachh Autos, tasked with door-to-door garbage collection, not fulfilling their duties

The Commissioner directed Zonal Commissioners to maintain absentee details of Swachh Autos and ensure that they adhere to timetables.

The RTA officials on ground, apparently under instructions from their superiors have set up roadblocks in the area and were randomly stopping vehicles for checking of documents etc.
