During a short discussion on the "Outstanding Liabilities of the State," Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was speaking when a member from the treasury benches shouted "thief" as Harish Rao was about to begin his remarks. Harish Rao responded by calling the member a "useless fellow." In response, members from the treasury benches demanded that Harish Rao withdraw his comment. However, Harish Rao stood his ground, stating that if the member's remark was expunged, he would also withdraw his comment.

Former Minister T Harish Rao objected to Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy questioning Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy during the question hour. When Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham inquired about the Pillaipally and Dharma Reddy canal works, the Irrigation Minister responded. Following this, the Roads and Buildings Minister criticized the BRS for neglecting irrigation projects in the former Nalgonda district. He also accused the BRS government of showing indifference towards the River Musi and its development.

"If Revanth Reddy has the courage, let us start with issues of farmers, weavers, auto drivers, and students of Gurukul schools. After debating the people's issues, we can also discuss about allegations against the BRS including the Formula E controversy," he asserted.

With Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) members raising slogans and insisting on a discussion on the atrocities against Lagacherla farmers in the House, Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar adjourned the Assembly to meet at 10 am on Tuesday.

The party also filed an adjournment motion seeking a discussion on the arrest of farmers who protested the acquisition of their lands for the Pharma Village at Lagacherla. However, the motion was rejected amid protests from the opposition benches. "As a result, under Rule 168(1) of the Telangana Legislative Assembly Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business, we are issuing a breach of assembly notice on behalf of the BRS Legislative Assembly party against the Finance Minister," the party stated.

BRS legislators arrived at the Assembly building holding placards and chanting slogans in protest against the handcuffing of one of the arrested farmers. However, they were halted by police and Assembly security, who informed them that they did not have permission to enter with placards. Among those leading the protest were BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao and senior leader T. Harish Rao.

In response to a question from BRS MLA T Harish Rao, state Panchayat Raj Minister D. Anasuya Seethakka stated that the amount owed to village Sarpanches (whose tenures have ended) up to November 1, 2024, exceeds Rs 691 crore. She assured that the bills would be cleared soon.
