With only nine days left for Telangana's Special Intensive Revision enumeration drive, only 49.28 per cent of voters have submitted and digitised their forms. Medchal-Malkajgiri, Hyderabad and Rangareddy recorded the lowest response, raising concerns over timely completion of the exercise.
A BRS delegation met Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharshan Reddy, urging the Election Commission to extend the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls by one month, alleging procedural lapses, inadequate voter verification, poor BLO training and technical shortcomings in the ongoing exercise.
