The protesting women demanded the State govt follow the police policy of TN and K'taka States. The TGSP personnel should be allowed to serve at one place for at least five years and the number of leaves in a month should be increased, they said.
The agitation is said to have intensified after a senior official during a counselling session allegedly asked some of the protesting wives as to who had asked them to marry TGSP constables.
