BRS leader Manne Krishank accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of running a “family raj” in Telangana, alleging that his relatives cornered contracts worth thousands of crores, including Singareni tenders and land deals, while the Congress diverted advertisements to National Herald
Rama Rao said the Congress government was forcefully acquiring 3,000 acres in Dudyal mandal to establish a Pharma Village, offering Rs.8-10 lakh per acre for land worth Rs.60-70 lakh.
Speaking outside Sangareddy prison on Friday after meeting 16 arrested villagers, Rama Rao alleged that the arrests were politically motivated to suppress dissent. He claimed, “Innocent people are being targeted simply for supporting the BRS. The police, in collusion with Tirupati Reddy and local Congress leaders, are intimidating villagers and their families with threats of violence if they oppose them.”
BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar recounted a heart-wrenching scene where a young girl, still in her school uniform, was seen searching for her school books amidst the rubble of her demolished home.
Petitioners Tirupati Reddy and Madhukar, the accused, claimed that they were not aware of the material and that they were agriculturists who at the instance of the principal accused persons were carrying the seized quantity of 129 kg
