Hyderabad: Stating that Telangana is recognised as a global hub for IT, Union Minister of State for Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary said government teachers must integrate new technologies into classroom teaching

The Minister, who visited the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) here on Sunday, said research and studies conducted by District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and SCERT must be mandatorily implemented at the field level.

DIETs and SCERT should act as guiding institutions for educational development, he said, adding that short-term and long-term goals should be clearly defined, and strategies to achieve them must be effectively implemented.

Mentioning that education alone has the power to bring about social transformation, Chaudhary said the pedagogical practices implemented rightly would transform schools. He asked all educational institutions to function in mission mode.
