Kachiguda police arrested a man who posed as a TSRTC vigilance officer and extorted money from bus conductors. The accused filmed conductors at halting points and later threatened them over phone calls, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested seven individuals in a joint operation conducted by the Hyderabad Task Force and Kachiguda police. The investigation revealed that the gang was sourcing ganja consignments from other states and supplying them to local peddlers, who then sold it to consumers in the area.
