Hyderabad: Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) 2021 notification for lateral entry admissions into engineering and pharmacy courses for BSc Mathematics and diploma holders will be issued on March 17. The entrance test will be held on July 1.
The computer-based test for ECE, EIE, CSE and EEE will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, while CIV, Chem, MEC, MIN, MET, PHM, and BSM from 3 pm to 6 pm. The test will be held at 18 regional centres including 14 in Telangana and four in Andhra Pradesh.
The TS ECET committee which met on Tuesday finalized a schedule for holding the entrance test. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad is organizing the entrance test for seventh time. A detailed information booklet with syllabi, list of courses, procedure for online application, mode of fee payment etc., will be made available on the website https://ecet.tsche.ac.in/.
Online applications can be submitted without a late fee from March 22 to May 17. The registration fee is Rs.800 (Rs.400 for SC/ST candidates). With a late fee of Rs.250 and Rs.500, the last date to apply is May 31 and June 14 respectively. Candidates can also apply with a late fee of Rs.2,500 and Rs.5,000 up to June 24 and June 28 respectively.
