Hyderabad: Virtusa Corporation, a global provider of digital strategy, engineering, and IT services and solutions that help clients change and disrupt markets through innovation engineering, received the ‘Champion of Learning’ certificate for the fourth consecutive year. It was recognised for its Learners’ Week 2020 by the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
Virtusa Learners’ Week is an annual event that showcases all the company’s educational programs, providing attendees an opportunity to take the next step towards reaching their learning goals. This year’s program offered 240 courses and covered various offerings across technical, process, domain, behavioral, and communication disciplines. Over 3,500 participants logged over 7,500 hours of training.
At the conclusion of Learners’ Week, Virtusa presented the program to the ATD and received the Champion of Learning certificate for the fourth consecutive year. The certificate celebrates organisations participating in ATD’s Employee Learning Week, where companies have the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to talent development and to remind team members about all of the learning and development opportunities available.
Sundar Narayanan, EVP, chief people officer, Virtusa said, “Despite the challenging conditions the world faced over the last year, more than 3,500 team members across the globe clocked over 7,500 hours of learning over five days.”
