Warangal: Ph.D awarded to KITSW faculty Jadi Laxman

KITSW Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy said that Jadi Laxman had submitted his Ph.D. thesis titled “Experimental Studies and Analysis of Electric Discharge Machining Process Parameters on Titanium Super Alloy”.

Warangal Urban: Jadi Laxman, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW), has been awarded a Ph.D. degree by the Kakatiya  University (KU), Warangal.

In a press note here on Wednesday, KITSW Principal Prof K Ashoka Reddy said that Jadi Laxman had submitted his Ph.D. thesis titled “Experimental Studies and Analysis of Electric Discharge Machining Process Parameters on Titanium Super Alloy”. He did his research work under the supervision of Dr K Eswaraiah, Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (MED) and chairman IQAC, KITSW, Telangana.

“Laxman did his research on Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) on Titanium super alloy, used in the aerospace industry. He has investigated the solution for machining of Titanium super alloy on EDM and the study in the present new material era, machining on Titanium super alloy provides  the better solution for machining in the aerospace industry,” Prof Reddy added.

KITSW Secretary & Correspondent Capt. V. Lakshmikantha Rao, Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy congratulated and appreciated him for doing a more applicable industry needed research in the field of unconventional machining of super alloy. Head & Professor of MED Dr K Sridhar, Administrative Officer Dr Pingili  Ramesh Reddy, Associate Professor of Chemistry and PRO Dr. D. Prabhakara Chary and others have congratulated  Laxman on being awarded a Ph.D. degree.
