Hyderabad: Apollo Cancer Centres (ACCs) have announced the launch of ‘End-O Check’, a comprehensive early cancer detection program targeting women aged 45 and above.
The initiative is designed with a focus on early detection of endometrial and ovarian cancers among women by spreading awareness about symptoms, ensuring timely intervention and empowering women to take proactive steps for their gynaecologic health, a press release said.
Dinesh Madhavan, president, Group Oncology and International, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise said, “End O Check is a proactive step in shifting the narrative from treatment to screening and early diagnosis, enabling timely detection, and precision treatment”.
Through this initiative, women can avail of transvaginal ultrasonography (TVS) diagnostic tools to help identify subtle changes that could indicate early-stage ovarian or endometrial cancers. Early imaging intervention allows clinicians to act promptly, improving treatment options, Dr Sai Lakshmi Daayana and Dr Pragnia, senior gynecological oncologists, said.
