Body found in Jaipur turns out to be man from Falaknuma in Hyderabad
A Canadian national from Hyderabad, Syed Qazi Mohiuddin alias Aamir, was found dead in Jaipur. He had gone missing while traveling to Ajmer. His identity was established with the help of media, and his family awaits a detailed investigation

Hyderabad: The unidentified man whose body was found in the Sindhi Camp Police Station area in Jaipur, Rajasthan, has been identified as a Hyderabadi. He was Syed Qazi Mohiuddin alias Aamir, a resident of Falaknuma.
Aamir, a Canadian national, had recently come to India to visit his relatives. He was said to have left Hyderabad to visit the dargah of Khawaja Moin-ud-din Chishti in Ajmer. After missing his train, he decided to travel to Ajmer by bus on July 3.
However, on July 9, he was found unconscious by police at a public place in the Sindhi Camp area. He later passed away. Jaipur police sought the help of Telangana Today to establish his identity after learning that he might be from Hyderabad.

Following a news item published with his photo in these columns on July 21 (Monday), Aamir’s relatives approached the Sindhi Camp police station and identified the body. They later claimed the body and brought it to Hyderabad.
He was buried on Saturday night at Dargah Quadri Chaman. Aamir is related to the custodian of the dargah at Falaknuma.
The family is awaiting a detailed investigation report from Jaipur police on the circumstances leading to Aamir’s death.
According to the police, on July 8, Aamir had approached a shopkeeper asking for water, saying he felt drowsy. The following morning, he was found unconscious at a public place. The family has requested Jaipur police to probe the case from all possible angles.
