BRS’s Krishank warns Jubilee Hills voters: “Revanth Reddy yet to fulfill Cantonment promises”
BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank accused CM Revanth Reddy and the Congress of misleading Secunderabad Cantonment voters with unfulfilled promises and warned that similar tactics were being used in Jubilee Hills. He cited failures in housing, infrastructure, and land regularisation, challenging the Congress to show results before seeking votes again.

Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi spokesperson Manne Krishank on Saturday said Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who won with a slew of unfulfilled promises in the Secunderabad Cantonment assembly constituency, was now gearing up to dupe voters in the upscale Jubilee Hills area as well with similar tactics.
“Revanth Reddy is replaying Telugu movie ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’ all over again,” he said, drawing parallels to the film’s themes of trickery and illusion that keep people on false hopes.
He stated that the Congress party had systematically misled Cantonment residents during the elections, only to deliver nothing in the year since coming to power.
“They won by giving false assurances in Cantonment, and now they’re doing the same in Jubilee Hills,” he added.
Highlighting Minister Ponnam Prabhakar’s promise to secure Rs 1,000 crore from the Centre for Cantonment development, he asked whether he had brought at least Rs 1 crore so far.
“Not a rupee so far,” he said, adding that on the elevated corridor project, the government had misrepresented compensation funds paid to the Army for donated lands as their own “achievements”.
The BRS leader also brought union Minister Bandi Sanjay into the fray, recalling his 2022 promise of Rs.700 crore for Cantonment. “Not even seven rupees has materialized,” Krishank said.
Referring to Revanth Reddy’s election promise to regularize defense department lands and issue ownership pattas to residents, he asked whether a single patta was given so far?
“If you’ve done it, go and ask for votes in Jubilee Hills,” Krishank challenged the Congress.
He also slammed the unfulfilled commitment of 6,000 Indiramma houses under the housing scheme, noting that not even six houses were provided.
“Even a sanctioned Rs 23 crore sports complex remains a pipe dream, with the land lying vacant,” he said, adding that in the Secunderabad Cantonment, no development had happened, except the Congress MLA getting a Mercedes Benz car for himself.
