With exams scheduled from January 3, teachers are juggling regular classroom work, while simultaneously preparing for the TET. Overall, the School Education department received 2,37,754 applications, with 85,538 for Paper-I and 1,52,216 for Paper-II, including applications from other than in-service teachers
Hyderabad: The TGTET examination will be held for nine days in 15 sessions between January 3, 2026 and January 20, 2026, according to an official press release here on Tuesday.
The Chairman of the TGTET informed that the timings will be:
Session I – 9 a.m to 11.30 a.m. and
Session II – 2 p,m. to 4.30 pm.
