Coursera launches Yuva AI for All foundational course
Coursera has partnered with the IndiaAI Mission under MeitY to launch the free Yuva AI for All course. The six-module programme teaches basic AI skills, safety and ethics. Learners will receive a government certificate upon completion.

Hyderabad: Coursera, an online learning platform, announced its collaboration with IndiaAI Mission, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), to offer the Yuva AI for All foundational course. The course, which is offered for free, is designed to help citizens equip themselves with key artificial intelligence skills that are needed to participate in the digital economy and contribute to the country’s vision of becoming an AI-enabled nation.
The course content consists of real-life Indian examples to help learners understand how AI has already become crucial across education, creativity, work, and public services. Created by AI experts, the course equips learners with the knowledge and skills needed to confidently engage with AI in everyday life.
The Yuva AI for All course is divided into six short modules, helping learners understand how AI tools can be used in classrooms, offices, and creative industries. It also teaches learners about safety, security, and ethics when using AI technologies. Post completion, learners will receive an official certificate from the Central government.
