The woman gave a written complaint to the Sadar police two days ago in which she said that though the rape incident took place five months ago, the accused posted the video of the incident recently.

Hearing her screams, locals rushed to the rescue and took her to the hospital besides informing the police.

According to reports, the boy killed his father Manoj Mishra, 42, on May 2 when the latter scolded him.

Based on a complaint filed by the woman, a case was registered against two men on charges of gang rape and three others on charges of criminal conspiracy, the police said.

Although the incident took place a week ago, the police were informed about it on Sunday.

The police officer said that police immediately started the investigation in the case and searched the CCTV footage of nearby area for clues.

A dowry-murder case has been registered and the accused and his four other family members have been arrested.

At the birthday party, they reportedly served her cake laced with sedatives. They committed the offence after she fell unconscious.

The three accused, who also blackmailed the girl and threatened to upload her objectionable video online if she resisted their advances, have been arrested.

The survivor was rescued on the night of October 13 by the Commissionerate Police from Gatirout Patana area of Cuttack.
