Hyderabad: Daniel Radcliffe became a household name after he starred in the ‘Harry Potter’ film series. While he has fans from around the world, the actor himself was fanboying over one of the members of the cast. Recently, Radcliffe opened up about all the stars he’s worked with over the years.
While promoting season three of his TBS series ‘Miracle Workers’, the 32-year-old actor revealed the one and only co-star that he was truly starstruck by. “At the time I wasn’t starstruck by any of those people,” Daniel shared on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ about his famous Harry Potter co-stars that included Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, and Kenneth Branagh.
“The first person I remember being starstruck by was Gary Oldman. Because that was the age when I was aware of who he was and his work and also getting more serious about acting myself,” shared Radcliffe, as reported on Just Jared.
Gary had joined the film series by playing the role of the alleged mass murderer Sirius Black in ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’ back in 2004. He was later revealed as the hero and the Godfather to Daniel’s character Harry. The actor was 15 years old then.
“So, yeah, before that when you meet someone as a 9-year-old it’s sort of hard to like, gain starstruckness of them later on,” Daniel added.
