‘Labourers losing rights under Modi rule’
Labourers in the country are losing their rights under the rule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleged Communist Party of India (CPI) senior leader Puvvada Nageswar Rao.
The Central government led by BJP has repealed 44 labour Acts replacing them with four new Acts to help private corporate forces. The BJP government was handing over public sector entities to a few private corporate forces in the country, he alleged.
He hoisted the party flag commemorating Labour Day celebrations here on Saturday. Nageswar Rao said the Central government was resorting to anti-labour policies and spreading communalism.
