GITAM former student becomes India’s most decorated Guinness World Record holder

Hyderabad: With two new Guinness World Records to her name for the world’s largest display of origami, GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, a former student, Shivali Johri Srivastava, bagged 21 Guinness World Records, making her the individual with the maximum number of Guinness World Records in the country.
Shivali, a School of Technology Batch 2016–2020 student, along with her parent, Kavita Johri Srivastava, added two new Guinness World Records to her name for the world’s largest display of origami. Shivali’s earlier accomplishments include display of 1,251 handmade paper dolls, 7,011 uniquely quilled flowers, 2,111 handmade paper quilled dolls, 3,501 origami whales, and 2,100 origami penguins.
She also displayed 6,132 origami citrus fruits (inflated lemons), 6,001 origami whales, 2,500 origami penguins, 1,993 origami maple leaves, 6,500 origami bats, 5,500 cars, 3,400 dinosaurs, 1,900 dogs, 3,400 peacocks, 3,200 pigs, 4,400 shirts, 2,200 quilled dolls, 3,200 seals, and 3,400 ribbon bows/bow ties.
In addition to her Guinness World Records, Shivali also achieved 15 Assist World Records and four Unique World Records, demonstrating her creativity, perseverance, and passion for art.
