Hindustan Coca-Cola, Telangana DET ink MoU to train ITI students

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. (HCCB) signed a two-year MoU with the Telangana Directorate of Employment and Training to provide ITI students with technical training and industry exposure. The collaboration will offer short-term internships at HCCB facilities, focusing on safety, quality, sustainability, and modern industrial practices.

Hyderabad: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd. (HCCB) on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana Directorate of Employment and Training (DET) to provide hands-on technical training and industry exposure to students pursuing ITI courses in the State.

The two-year MoU aims to bridge the skill gap between classroom learning and industrial application by facilitating short-term internships at HCCB factories and offices across the State. The programme will focus on exposing trainees to real-world operations, process efficiency, and best practices in safety, quality, and sustainability in a large-scale manufacturing environment.

Directorate of Employment and Training joint director SVK Nagesh said this collaboration would enhance the employability of ITI students by providing them with exposure to modern industrial systems, processes, and work culture.

HCCB vice-president – HR Nikhil Arora said through this collaboration, the company aims to provide ITI students with hands-on learning opportunities that complement their academic curriculum, while also inspiring them to pursue rewarding careers in manufacturing and allied sectors.
