Man arrested for selling sand illegally in Hyderabad
Officials seized 60 tonnes of sand worth Rs 1.2 lakh

Hyderabad: The Task Force (South-West) team along with the Mandal Revenue Officer raided a construction and building material dump and arrested one person for illegal sand trading at Puranapul. .
The arrested person is K Santhosh Singh (37), a sand trader from Lower Dhoolpet.
Police said Santhosh Singh sold the river sand illegally without any bills or documents or permission from mining authorities. He was selling sand on higher prices than market price and gaining money illegally by cheating innocent people.
