NIT Warangal student bags record Rs 1.27 crore placement offer
NIT Warangal has achieved its highest-ever placement package, with Computer Science student Narayan Tyagi securing a domestic offer worth Rs 1.27 crore. Another student, Mohammed Nahil Nashwan from Electrical and Electronics Engineering, received a Rs 1 crore offer.

Hanamkonda: A B.Tech. student of NIT Warangal secured a placement with an annual pay package of Rs 1.27 crore, the highest package recorded at the institute so far.
The student Narayan Tyagi of Computer Science and Engineering Department received the domestic offer from a Multinational Corporation (MNC). Similarly another B.Tech. student from Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, Mohammed Nahil Nashwan secured a domestic offer with a package of Rs 1 crore.
Narayan Tyagi hails from Noida, Uttar Pradesh while Mohammed Nahil Nashwan belongs to Khammam in Telangana. Within just the first two months of the 2025–26 placement drive, the institute witnessed remarkable success in terms of placement offers across all the disciplines.
Six students received offers with cost to company (CTC) above Rs 70 lakh, 34 students secured offers with CTC exceeding Rs 50 lakh, 125 students got offers above Rs 30 lakh, 163 students received offers above Rs 25 lakh and over 200 students received offers with CTC above Rs 20 lakh. The average package surpassed Rs 26 lakh as on October 15.
As the placement season is not over, more high-value offers are expected in the months ahead with many leading recruiters yet to visit the campus to recruit employees from a large pool of talented students.
NITW Director Prof. Bidyadhar Subudhi congratulated all students and faculty. The ongoing season demonstrates the students’ excellence, industry relevance and the growing confidence of recruiters in NITW.
He also appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Centre for Career Planning and Development (CCPD) team, led by Prof. P. V. Suresh, for achieving high-value placements this season, said an official release.
