Music composer Devi Sri Prasad will make his acting debut with Telugu film Yellamma, directed by Venu Yeldandi. The rural Telangana-based drama stars Bhagyashri Borse and explores the struggles of a singing group devoted to Goddess Yellamma

Music director Devi Sri Prasad has joined Karthi's upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual, tentatively titled #Karthi30. The announcement was made on his birthday as the makers confirmed the film's shooting is progressing steadily under director Kalyan Shankar with Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead.
