The Air Force Academy, Dundigal, received the 'Pride of the Training Command’ trophy at the Training Command Commanders' Conference 2025 in Bengaluru. Air Chief Marshal AP Singh commended training establishments for operational, maintenance, and administrative excellence and highlighted the need for modernisation.

The Air Force Band, led by Warrant Officer B Ranga Rao, delivered a spectacular Independence Day performance at Bison Ground, Secunderabad. They also interacted with the trainees who had joined the IAF through NCC entry scheme.

Stating that no branch and service operates in isolation, the IAF Chief asked the young officers to try and learn from each other and support each other

A total of 204 flying cadets, including 26 women, were commissioned into flying and ground duty branches of the IAF after their training at the academy
