General Anil Chauhan, CDS, will review the Combined Graduation Parade of 216 Course at Air Force Academy, Dundigal, on December 13. Awards, President’s Commission, flight cadet honors, and aerial displays by Akash Ganga, SKAT, and Sarang will highlight the event

The Air Force Academy, Dundigal, received the 'Pride of the Training Command’ trophy at the Training Command Commanders' Conference 2025 in Bengaluru. Air Chief Marshal AP Singh commended training establishments for operational, maintenance, and administrative excellence and highlighted the need for modernisation.

The Air Force Band, led by Warrant Officer B Ranga Rao, delivered a spectacular Independence Day performance at Bison Ground, Secunderabad. Patriotic songs, dynamic instrumentation, and energetic stage presence delighted dignitaries and the twin cities’ public during the 79th Independence Day celebrations

The cadets participate in several training activities and gain insight into the Indian Air Force’s ground-level operations through visits to different sections of the Academy

The event will include a display by the Akash Ganga team and Air Warrior Drill Team (AWDT) to mark the beginning of the Combined Graduation Parade.

They also interacted with the trainees who had joined the IAF through NCC entry scheme.

Stating that no branch and service operates in isolation, the IAF Chief asked the young officers to try and learn from each other and support each other

A total of 204 flying cadets, including 26 women, were commissioned into flying and ground duty branches of the IAF after their training at the academy

The event, marked by military precision, will commemorate the successful completion of the pre-commissioning training of flight cadets across various branches of the Indian Air Force (IAF)

The award of Commandant’s Banner symbolizes overall excellence and marks the conclusion of fiercely contested series of events, ranging from physical activities, sports, debate, quizzes, cultural events, cross-country runs, field camps, drill competition and academics.

Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari reviews Combined Graduation Parade of 213 officers’ course at Air Force Academy in Hyderabad

Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), would be the Reviewing Officer (RO) of the parade.

The graduating officers included 25 women officers who were commissioned into various branches of the IAF.

The Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) of 212 Officers’ Course at Air Force Academy (AFA), Dundigal will be held on December 17.
